If you’ve been searching for vegan ice cream in Baltimore that actually tastes like the real thing — not an icy, watered-down afterthought — you’ve found it. Cajou is Baltimore’s globally-inspired, plant-based creamery, and every scoop is handmade from cashew milk and real superfoods.
What makes Cajou different
Most plant-based ice cream leans on fillers, gums, and empty calories. We went the other way. Our base is cashew milk — rich, creamy, and naturally luscious — so the texture rivals premium dairy ice cream without a drop of it. Everything is dairy-free, gluten-free, and soy-free, with no artificial anything.
Flavors that taste like home
We build our flavors around the places and spices that raised us: Indian-inspired Mango Lassi, Turkish Baklava, Cuban Cortadito (café con leche), Latin American Horchata, and Caribbean Soursop. It’s a passport in a pint.
Where to find us
Visit our shop at 411 North Howard Street, Baltimore, MD 21201, or order Cajou online. Hosting something special? We also bring craft ice cream cocktails to events through Lush by Cajou.
Made for the 125 million people in the U.S. — most from communities of color — who can’t do dairy and deserve more than one token option. We didn’t make a flavor for you. We made a whole shop.
